M.A.C. Tres Cheek: Immortal Flower

So, I landed an internship. That's a cause for celebration, right? Ever since I quit my job I've been in this tailspin of "Should I buy this?" "Do I really need that?" It's frustrating and scary, and I'm afraid my boyfriend is getting the worst end of it =/ But I must remember that my internship is an investment (a really exciting one, at that) - and that being without an income, for a short while, will be worth it :)

Anywhoo. I decided, hey, I'll reward myself with something every time I accomplish a new goal. New beginnings? Bring on the M.A.C!

M.A.C's new Tres Cheek collection is fabulous, but I had to limit myself to one (There are a total of six, 5 satin, 1 frost). One, because blushes have a substantially short shelf life, and two. I already have a million that I love. I needed something peachy, not peachy-pink, not shimmery peach. Just a matte peach, and I found it! Immortal Flower is the subtlest, shyest matte peach, and I love it!

My biggest fear was that it'd be too sheer. I have a medium skin tone with yellow undertones, and this looked really light. As a matter of fact, I believe this color is just perfect for my skin! It gives me a warm peachy glow (without looking like a firecracker exploded on my face).

Anywhoo, in comparison to NARS' infamous Orgasm blush, I'd have to go with this one. Orgasm is amazing (hah.), but it is quite glittery, and more pink. If I'm ever taking a day trip to the beach, I may pick that one. But Immortal Flower is nice to wear, just everyday. So, overall? Thumbs Up! :D

Much Love,
Eden
